First toothbrushes, first big smiles

When we opened the box of hygiene kits, the room went quiet — then erupted. For several of the children, it was the first toothbrush they’d ever owned.

We spent the morning learning the “two-minute circle”: brushing every corner of every tooth while a favorite song played. By the end, kids were teaching each other — the surest sign a lesson has landed.

Prevention isn’t only about avoiding pain. It’s about confidence: the freedom to laugh, raise a hand, and smile without covering your mouth. That’s the future we’re building, one classroom at a time.
